Firmware update for 3TB SATA hard disks (current generation)
Hulky42 > 28.01.2013, 01:26 PM
Wisdom: Hard disks are never too big...
I would like to get an X10 firmware update to enable 3TB SATA hard disks. Currently I run my brand new X10 from a 16 GB USB stick and I will wait with buying a hard disk until the X10 is ready to accept this.
In my NAS (Network Attached Storage), I use a 3TB SATA hard disk for more than a year now, so it is not very exotic anymore. Modern 'green' ones use low energy, are silent, produce little heat and are moderate in price (€ 120). -

Is already "requested"... If we can support 3TB, we can also support 4 TB.... -

Hi Administrator,
1. Can you provide a link to the (Deutsche Frage?) where this is requested please?
2. Can you give an implementation date for 3 and 4 TB hard disks firmware?
I'm running the X10 from a 16GB USB Memory Stick now...
Thanks in advance, regards. -

We make this request internal, so there is no link
I currently don't have an fixed release date for that...
