As an alternative to mechanical hard disks, there are SSDs (Solid State Disks) without moving, mechanical parts. They have become very reliable, use little energy, are absolute silent and are 'lightning fast'. E.g., there are good, reasonably priced SSDs available (€ 175 - 180 GB SATA II).
Questions:
1. Is there practical experience already with SSDs for the current generation X10 (future generation as well)?
2. Is there a 'minimum requirements' specification for buying a SSD for the X10?
