Ich habe ein x45 mit SSD Platte mit der Musik drauf, sowie einen N25 in einem anderen Raum.
Ich würde gern im N25 auf die Musik DB des X45 zugreifen, finde aber keine Einstellung.
Unter Setup Speicher sagt er, es sei nichts vorhanden (weil keine HD angeschlossen).
Über Browser => NET kann ich direkt auf die Musik zugreifen (weil über Netzwerk verbunden).
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, auf die Musik dB außerhalb des N25 zuzugreifen.
In English (apologies in advance). On the x45, go to Setup ⇒ Network services, and switch on UPnP. Then on the N25, go to Browser ⇒ UPnP and you should see the x45 there. Select it, and you will see several folders as exported by the UPnP server in the x45. Hope this helps.

Über die „Musik X Neo“ Software zum N25 komme ich links oben über das Hamburger Menü auf „Browser“ „NET“ auf mein „X45“ Verzeichnis „LocalStorages“ und kann auf meine Musik wie im Windows Explorer markieren und im N25 abspielen. Die Anzeige des N25 zeigt die abgespielte Musik an, aber sie zeigt keine Inhalte der Musik DB an.
Die Idee / Hoffnung war, dass man die DB des x45 im N25 verfügbar machen kann.

I have an X45 with music on SSD and Music DB and an N25 as a client, so to speak.
Using the “Musik X Neo” software for the N25, I can access my “X45” directory “LocalStorages” via the hamburger menu in the top left corner under ‘Browser’ “NET” and select my music as in Windows Explorer and play it on the N25. The N25 display shows the music being played, but it does not show the contents of the music database.
The idea/hope was that the x45's database could be made available in the N25.

That's exactly what the UPnP export from the x45 accomplishes: you can see the contents on the N25, and select music by artist, album, etc. (these are the 'folders' you see over UPnP).

Ich habe über 50.000 Titel auf der Festplatte (hat man früher so gemacht).
Eine normale suche über scrollen ist da nicht mehr möglich.
Ich habe auf der Festplatte eine Ordnerstruktur A-Z mit Unterordnern angelegt.
Deshalb suche ich auf dem x45 nur über Browser oder über NEO rechts ober über die Suche und komme damit gut zurecht.
Das wollte ich jetzt auf dem N25 auch so umsetzen. Über NET komme ich auch auf die Ordnerstruktur und kann auswählen.
Da NEO wegen fehlender Musik DB keine Informationen über die vorhandene Musik hat, kann ich oben rechts auch keine Suche ausführen.

Hello. Thank you for your suggestion. I tried it out and realized that I had actually asked the question incorrectly.
I have over 50,000 tracks on my hard drive (that's how we used to do it).
A normal search via scrolling is no longer possible.
I have created an A-Z folder structure with subfolders on the hard drive.
That's why I only search on the x45 via the browser or via NEO at the top right using the search function, and I get along fine with that.
I wanted to implement this on the N25 as well. I can also access the folder structure via NET and make my selection.
Since NEO has no information about the available music due to the lack of a music database, I cannot perform a search in the top right corner either. That's why I'm asking whether the Musik database of the X45 can be integrated into the N25.

Genau in dieser Ordnerstruktur müßtest Du doch auch den (System-)Ordner "MyMusic" sehen,
hierdrin sind die symbolischen Links zur DB und hier müßtest Du auch vom "Client" her die Musik der DB abrufen können.
Ist das so?

Ah, okay, that clears things up a bit, @goran. You could simply buy a portable storage device, hook it up to your computer, mount the x45's SMB drive, copy the contents of the x45 HD to the portable storage device, unmount everything and hook up the portable storage device to one of the USB3 ports on the back of your N25.
