1 Modification of My Playlist(virtual playlist) function
The created My Playlist will be removed automatically after 'STOP playing', 'X10 re-booting' or 'new My Playlist creation'.
2 Advanced My Playlist(virtual playlist) function
You can create new My Playlist(virtual playlist) immediately when you meet the song you like because of its artist, genre or album when you are enjoying music.
<Note 1 > This function will be helpful in playing Music DB at Title mode
<Note 2 > This function works at Music DB only(This function does not work at Browser playing)
<Note 3 > The 'Yellow' key works at 'Playing Screen' mode only
1 When you meet the song that you like 2 Press 'Yellow' key at 'Playing Screen' mode 3 The popup
menu shows up like below

4 You may select one of items and confirm it with OK key 5 The selected songs will start playing and they will be stored as My Playlist.(The previous My Playlist will be removed)
3 Playing History function at Music DB
You can list up maximum 10 songs recently played at Music DB through this function.
1 Go into Music DB 2 Press Menu key
3 Select 'History' and confirm it with OK key

4 The function of HDD NTFS file system check & fix
You can check and fix NTFS file system for the installed HDD in the X10 if you feel something strange
in the NTFS file system of X10 hard disk.
1 Go to 'NTFS Fix' at System of SETUP menu 2 Select 'NTFS Fix' and confirm it with OK key 3 You can see the screen like below. 4 Confirm it with OK key, then it will start.
<Note> After checking & fixing, X10 will be re-booted automatically
※ CAUTION : We recommend you NOT to run this function in case that the file system of X10 hard disk has no problem.

5 Modification of INFO mode at 'Playing Screen'
If you don't like the titles ticking away continuously at the screen, you may select other mode with this function.

6 Playlist function extension
Bit rate / Sampling rate info are added
As you know, you can make playlist for your favorite songs(※ Refer to manual for Playlist function)
We added a nice extra function for the playlist function. When you are enjoying music at Music DB and meet a nice song. You can add it into one playlist of existing playlists in the Playlist(folder).
< Note 1 > This function does NOT work at Browser Playing.
1 Press PLAYLIST key at 'Playing Screen' mode. 2 The below screen will show up. 3 Select the Playlist where you want to add the song, and confirm it with OK key. 4 The song will be stored in the selected playlist.

7 Incremental backup function
As you know, X10 has already the function of Music DB backup. To save backup leadtime from the 2nd backup, we added incremental backup function. From the 2nd backup, X10 does not copy the files which are already existing in the backup storage.
< Note > If you edited the previously backup album or file at Music DB, the edited album or file
will be copied again during the next backup process.
8 Resume Play function
When you boot up X10, it will play automatically the music in Music DB or Browser or i-Radio that was last stopped.
1 Go to System in SETUP menu 2 Select Resume Play and confirm it with OK key 3 Set it as ON like below picture.
※ Default : OFF
<Note 1> This function does NOT work in case that 'Alarm' function or 'Auto Play' function are enabled.
<Note 2> Function Priority : Alarm function -------> Auto Play function ----------> Resume Play function ※ Refer to the manual for understanding of 'Auto Play' function and 'Alarm' function.
<Note 3 > It will take around 1~3 seconds to start playing after the below main screen shows up.
9 Alarm function extension
With previous firmware version, you could select Playlist only as sound source.(※ Refer to the manual(18-5 Alarm set) for Alarm function understanding.)
This new firmware lets you select iRadio station also stored in My Favorites as sound source.
In process of Alarm setting, you can select iRadio station also as sound source.
<Note 1> Before setting iRadio station as alarm sound source, you have to store iRadio station into My Favorites in advance.
<Note 2> Refer to the manual(14-2 How to put your favorite stations into My Favorites)
10 Support album cover art for M4A file(tag)
We improved to support album cover art for M4A file(tag)

11 Support album cover art for UPnP Server/Client/Renderer mode
X10 supports album cover art when you use it together with PC or mobile devices through UPnP network protocol.
12 Improvement for Discography mode
New firmware was improved to list up only the selected artist's songs at Discography mode
※ Beatles' songs only will be displayed
13 Indicator for Wireless LAN signal strength
You can check Wireless LAN signal strength by two methods like below when X10 is connected to network through Wireless LAN.
Method #1 : Press green key like below.
Method #2 : Go to SETUP menu like below.
14 Improvements related to WebInterface
After you update your X10 with new firmware(R1663), you MUST set 'Web Server' as ON and run Web Server Reinstall' at SETUP like below to apply the updated Web Server(WebInterface) functions to your X10.
1 Go to SETUP and set Web Server as ON. 2 Select 'Reinstall' and run it like below.

14-1) Two(2) version of WebInterface
X10 WebInterface provides two(2) versions. One is PC(including iPad) version, the other is Smart phone (iPhone, Android phone) version. If you start WebInterface(※ Refer to the X10-WebUI User Quick
Guide ver0.9.2 Beta), X10 WebServer software will recognize each device(PC or Smart phone) automatically and will display proper WebInterface for each device.[For example] If you try starting WebInterface
with your iPhone, the Smart phone version will show up at your iPhone screen. [ Smart Phone version ] [ PC version ]

14-2) Max execution time for editing at WebInterface mode
We extended 'max execution time for editing at WebInterface mode' to 300 seconds from 30 seconds to prevent it from going to timeout before finishing editing jobs at WebInterface mode.
14-3) Waiting message(status message) for each activity
We added 'the waiting message(status message)' for several activities like below

14-3-3) Adding album cover art at WebInterface mode
When you try adding album art cover at WebInterface mode, the status message(Now adding) will show up on the screen of X10 like below.

cover art to each track of the album. For next step, you have to wait until the adding process is completed.
14-4) X10 screen at any position will display 'Playing Screen mode' according to your play order at WebInterface mode.

1) Cleared the bug that X10 goes dead(crash) when you try controlling volume at AUX IN mode.
2) Cleared the bug that volume control is not smooth in direct CD playing.
3) The keys on the top of the X10 unit work properly during Wizard Setup.
4) Cleared the bug that some FLAC or M4A file fails to play completely and stops playing at certain
position of the back part.
